With each pulse of the laser, the light is attracted to the hair follicle and heats it up. The heat penetrates deep into the follicle where it destroys the blood vessel that feeds the hair. Deprived of necessary nourishment, hair cannot grow. This three-stage process is called Photo-thermo-lysis (light-heat-destroy). The GentleLASE™ Plus is particularly effective because its 755nm wavelength allows for greater light and heat penetration into the follicle for complete removal. Its 3msec-pulse duration is crucial for maximum control of thermal impairment. Microdermabrasion, also referred to as mechanical exfoliation or micro-resurfacing, is a cosmetic technique that uses a mechanical medium for exfoliation along with adjustable suction to remove the outermost layer of dead skin cells from the epidermis. It is a non-invasive procedure, which is performed in-office by a trained skin care professional
Microdermabrasion may be performed to decrease the appearance of superficial hyperpigmentation, photo damage, diminish fine lines, wrinkles, and shallow acne scars. Removing the dead skin will aid in the penetration of skin care products by up to 50% and make-up will go on much more smoothly.

Chemical Peel
A technique used to improve and smooth the texture of the skin. A chemical solution is applied to your hands or face which will cause the dead skin to peel off. The regenerated skin is usually smoother and has a youthful glow to it. Chemical peels can and should be combined with Microdermabrasion for best results in some cases. There is no down time with this procedure. Six treatments are recommended for optimum results.
